10/26 - Flagship Brewery Event

On October 26, 2025, the Seagull Solar Car team hosted a fundraising event at Flagship Brewery. There, we set up tables and raffles, welcomed visitors, served food, and even got some work done on our trailer.

The day started when our team arrived at Flagship Brewery at 10 AM to set everything up. We arranged tables throughout the brewery and organized the raffle displays, so guests could easily browse and participate once the event started.

As people began arriving, our team split into three groups. One group was at the entrance scanning entrance tickets as well as selling raffle and 50/50 tickets. Another group served and sold food throughout the day. Meanwhile, a third group worked on building a dolly to transport Gemini, a retired MIT solar car donated to our team, and did some inspections on our trailer.

When the event wrapped up, the whole team helped clean up the tables and floor, making sure we left Flagship Brewery looking great and thanking them for hosting us.

We're so grateful to everyone who came out and donated to support our team! Thank you to all who visited and let us share our goals and plans for our upcoming race. Every bit of support helps us get closer to competing with our solar car!
